Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar until well combined.

  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are okay.

  5. Using a 1/4 cup measuring cup or a large spoon, pour batter onto the hot skillet, forming circles. Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancakes, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until lightly golden brown.
  6. Repeat with the remaining batter, adjusting heat as needed to prevent burning.
